The masalacollages are the result of an investigation into commercial
art forms in extinction, carried out in India and in Thailand. Antonio Merinero
creates these collages in collaboration with local commercial artists.
The works are made with a wide variety of current and “old”
commercial and cinema graphics and later brought to life by the
skilful hands of billboard painters
